Bernard "Bud" Murphy Jr.

Bernard “Bud” Joseph Murphy, Jr. 86, of Huntington Beach, California, passed away on October 4th, 2021 in his home in Mission Viejo. 
Bud was born in Rockford, Illinois to Bernard Murphy, Sr and Marion Mahoney on February 2, 1935.  He worked as an Account Executive for AT&T for 30+ years.  On May 12, 1960, he married Lillian Ann Capelli. He enjoyed vacationing in Bass Lake with family and spending a long retirement with his 6 grandchildren.  He also was involved in volunteering as a probation officer for 15 years after his retirement. 
Bud was predeceased by his wife, Lillian. He is survived by his Son, Kevin Murphy, his two daughters, Karen Hicks and Colleen Flynn, and his 6 grandchildren whom he adored all of Trabuco Canyon, California. As well as, His Brother, Larry Murphy, and several nieces and nephews. 
He will be truly missed by all.
