Clement Paul Aime

Clement Aime, devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024 at age 85. A proud naval veteran, Clement fought valiantly and defied all expectations in his battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Clement was born on March 26, 1939 to Stefano and Orsolina Aime and raised in Cucamonga, California. He met Linda, the love of his life, and they were married on February 11, 1961. Their marriage lasted 57 years until Linda's passing in 2018. Together, Clement and Linda raised two children, Doug and Debbie, and had the joy of seeing the births of four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Clement graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and began working for Beckman Instruments in 1965 until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed sharing his passions for water skiing at Canyon Lake, and upon moving to Huntington Harbour, fishing with his family and friends. He was an active member of the Southern California Tuna Club, participating in and directing many fishing tournaments. Clement was always eager to thank fellow veterans for their service and was grateful for the opportunity to host disabled veterans for a day of fishing in support of their recovery.

When not fishing, he and Linda shared a passion for travel via one of many cruises or trips to Italy to visit extended family. They also loved hosting parties on their patio, including many Huntington Harbour Christmas boat parades and Fourth of July celebrations. But nothing brought them greater happiness than spending time with their children and their families.
