Marlene J. Dyson born August 14, 1938 in Clyde, Kansas and died on March 8, 2021. She resided in Huntington Beach, CA at the time of her passing. Marlene had a deep devotion to God and to her family. She was a member of First Christian Church of Huntington Beach for 45 years and she was the secretary at Huntington Christian School for 15 years. She was married to the love of her life, Norm Dyson, for 62 years and they spent a lifetime sharing wisdom, kindness and good timed with a circle of family and friends that spread far and wide. She loved Christmas, shopping, going for walks, cooking, sewing and the Los Angeles Angels baseball team. Norm and Marlene attended many baseball games together, shared special occasions at the stadium, enjoyed watching games at home and traveled all over to attend the All Star Games.
82 years of her love and compassion has left this world a better place. She is survived by Norm (husband), Dale Hess (brother), Deryl Dyson (son), Teresa Kettler (daughter) and 7 beautiful grandchildren, Emily, Eric, Donald, Kade, Danika, Tommy and Klara. Marlene always cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren who brought her so much pleasure, joy and laughter. She will be missed every day and leaves a legacy of faith, hope and love.
