Patricia Ducharm

Patricia (Meske) Ducharm born August 7, 1944 and raised in Alpena, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2021, following a serious illness. She was united in marriage with Michael Ducharm and they were blessed with 2 sons, Mark (Priscilla) Ducharm and Dan (Ann) Ducharm and six grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Dean, Emmy, Alicia and Paul.  She has three surviving siblings, Bob (Laura) Meske, Cathy (Janet Coopes) Meske, Debbie  (Dan) Twomley; nieces and nephews Jimmy, Kerry and Gaylene Ducharm, Leila (Olivier) Bordo, RJ (Jenny) Meske, Dan Jr. (Tatum) Twomley, Jennifer (Chuck) Houghton, Matt (Paige) Twomley,  Jeff (Brooke) Twomley, Claire Coopes-Meske and Maya (Jordan ) Clargo and many great-nieces and great-nephews.  Preceding her in passing, sister Carol Meske. 
Patricia was a gentle and kind person with a great sense of humor and infectious laugh, keeping her family and friends in stitches with humor and laughter when gathering in person, through Zoom or countless telephone calls.  She had a lifelong faith and would willingly pray with those in need no matter what time of day or night.   In 2014, Patricia published, “The Heart of the Bridegroom for His Bride,” a faith based compilation of writings about her loving relationship with our Lord.  
With never ending faith, strength and courage, she met life’s challenges with dignity and grace.   Until we meet again in our heavenly home, we will carry her loving memory and bountiful faith in our hearts.  There will be a celebration of life on September 25th at 10 am with a luncheon following.
